Book: Camp fear ghouls
If you are in a mood to read about ghouls and evil spirits, then R.L.Stine’s Camp Fear Ghouls is a perfect choice.
The story begins when a girl named Lizzy Caldwell and her friend want to join a scout troop. Unfortunately Lizzy is not selected whereas her friend, Caroline ,is selected. Lizzy insists that Caroline should not join the troop, but Caroline refuses to listen to her. Lizzy is very disappointed and angry and both the girls break up their friendship.
Then Lizzy meets a girl named Amy, who invites her to her troop, which is called the Camp Fear Girls. It promised loads of spooky and scary stuff, the kind that Lizzy wanted. So she accepts the invitation thinking it would be fun. When Lizzy returns home, she receives the official invitation from Camp Fear Girls.
The invitation in big, red dripping letters read “BE THERE...OR BEWARE!”
Lizzy had to get to the house where the Camp Fear Girls meet by a van. But the driver of the van is a very spooky and mysterious person. To Lizzy’s surprise, she is the only passenger in the van! The driver drops Lizzy at a street called Fear Street which is very scary and frightening. Many scary tales were told about it. Lizzy had to get to the house by herself.......in the dark.....and she was all alone. Lizzy learns that she will have to get to the house everyday like this.
Soon Lizzy’s old friend, Caroline also join the troop. The badges of the troop show coffins and hangman’s noses. The Camp Fear girls mysteriously disappear. To find out what happens next, you should read this story.
