Hi kids!

A couple of weeks back some doctors at a Singapore hospital attempted to separate two conjoined twins but unfortunately both of them died. The operation was a high-risk procedure and the doctors and the girls knew it. After the failure of the operation one would have thought that the doctors would not attempt such a task in the near future. But then news came that the same doctors who had operated on the Iranian twins undertook to separate two South Korean infants who were joined at the pelvis. This was the third operation of its kind in the said hospital.

An act such as this is called courage — not giving up on failure. It needs a man of great courage not to give up what he thinks can be achieved, even after a failed attempt. People usually take time to recover from a setback and restart their efforts to pursue their goal. But if one believes in himself one can hit back right away. Also one cannot sit back and just muse over his failure. If he does, he is not going to get anywhere.

For example, you work hard for your test but fail to get good grades, you cannot afford to give up as you know you have to improve your grades in order to get promoted to the next class. You have to work extra-hard to achieve your objective. If you brand yourself a failure and start thinking that you can never get a good position, you are never going to get one.

The key is not to lose courage and never to give up. One day you are bound to succeed.

Have a nice reading!

Bye!

Ed
