Web Site: Dumb laws

By Hammad Memon

www.dumblaws.com

This site is one that does not have to be taken seriously at all. Why? Didn’t you notice that dumb in the address? However, this is an extraordinary way of wasting your time, yet being able to learn something. For example, why chewing is banned in Singapore? That is just one example. You can surely get hundreds of them under geographical categories and the site recently announced the completion of its first book on dumb laws.

Ever growing, their aim is not just to collect these dumb laws from all around the globe, but to find out as to why they were created in the first place. Though it can be passed for a site providing knowledge, Dumb laws lays great emphasis on the fact that its main purpose is to provide entertainment to the visitors. As the site says: “We wouldn’t recommend using our laws as evidence in court, unless you’d like the judge to laugh you into jail.”
