Super Sis

Dear Super Sis,

I am a 16-year-old Capricorn. I don’t want to read or study and my position in class is getting worse day by day. I don’t take interest when my parents force me to study. When I start studying I start feeling sleepy. I want to have fun, but if I don’t take interest in my studies, my friends will break their friendship with me.

Capricorn

Dear Capricorn,

Everybody wants to have fun it’s true. But that doesn’t mean that you should stop being serious about your studies. Everything should have a limit. And your friends are only trying to help you. They are forcing you to study, at the cost of your friendship. Full credit to them for trying to help out a friend.

What you can do to overcome this problem is that you can set a timetable for yourself, which should have all your day’s activities in it. Keep sufficient time for your daily dose of fun, so that you can get it out of your system, but remember to spare a considerable amount of time for your studies (an hour and a half, maybe?). After that, you can clean up your study area and make it cozy and welcoming. If you follow your timetable with devotion, you will find that your work efficiency will rise dramatically.
