GAME TALK: Grand theft auto III

By Adam Abdullah

If you like car racing and action games, combine both and this is what you get. A sequel to the hugely successful ‘Grand

Theft Auto II’, GTA III is better in a number of ways. The 3-D view helps you get excellent graphics. The sound quality is better too.

You start as a criminal just escaped from jail in Liberty City. With the freedom to go anywhere and commit whatever crimes, you advance from level to level by completing missions. Grand Theft Auto III puts the ruthless world of crime at your fingertips if you have enough guts to take it.

One feature which makes the game more realistic is the police. As you commit murders and car jacking and kidnappings, your ‘wanted’ level increases. Police cars, trucks and even helicopters chase you! But you can give them the slip by repainting your car.

The minimum system requirements are: P-2 or higher, 32 MB of RAM (64 Rec), 850 MB Harddisk space, 3 D card, sound.
