WEBSITE: learn to type

By Zafar Iqbal

If you are not very good at typing and haven’t taken any proper training classes, no problem! The website www.learn2type.com  teaches you typing techniques. Other than briefing you on the principles of typing, it also instructs with the help of illustrations, where to place your fingers on the keyboard.

All you have to do is click on the ‘Sign up for free’ link and join its registered users. You can also click on ‘Learn2Type’, which is a simpler and educational exercise designed specifically for youngsters.

After registering, you can start learning from ‘Touch typing basics’. As you become faster and more accurate, you will move up to more complex exercises.

The final exercises are built around your speed and accuracy, and should be practised regularly to maintain your proficiency. If you get tired between typing lessons, the link, ‘Time out’ provides games and puzzles for relaxation. So visit the website and be a master of typing.
