Dear Super Sis, There is a very rude girl in my school. She has a group of four friends. One of them is my best friend. Now I can’t talk to my friend because she told her not to talk to me. What can I do? Rabia Nayab
You can get a new friend. What’s the use of chasing someone who can’t do anything for you in return?
Dear Super Sis I am a 7th-grader. I have two problems:
1) I am an only child so my parents pamper me. But I don’t like it. My mother, for example, serves me dinner. I don’t want her doing that but she insists, and we have an argument. What should I do? (I loose my temper frequently).
2) Whenever I read a book or watch a TV programme, I imagine myself as one of the characters. It is not that I want to be the lead, sometimes I want to be the villain too. I dream about it for three or four days. It disturbs my work. Please help me! A troubled Leo
1) I’m glad you don’t like your mother serving you. Since the idea is to respect her and make her happy, let her pamper you. Show that you enjoy and appreciate it. Accept it as a sign of her love for you. In return, you too can pamper her too. Hugging and kissing her from time to time won’t take any time at all.
Buy her her favourite snack or flowers, help out with household chores or just give her a smile as you pass by.
2) It’s something we’re all guilty of! Why else do they make movies, if not to offer an escape into fantasy? It’s fun while it lasts, isn’t it? — as long as you don’t really go on a shooting spree, or run off with your boyfriend.
