Out in space

http://www.newscientistspace.com/home.ns
When it comes to life (or otherwise) outside Earth, the possibilities for research and exploration are endless. This website features an e-zine which is totally dedicated to astronomy, space technology and the solar system. The e-zine is jam-packed with editorials, news stories, special reports and feature articles. There is also a multimedia section where you can view photo galleries and videos.

Sunny affair

http://www.builditsolar.com/
It is a wonder why countries which have ample sunshine all year around do not employ solar energy for electricity generation and other purposes. However, if you are a science student, there is no reason why you cannot try out some of the projects given on this website and try and see whether or not they actually work. If, on the other hand, you have a great idea yourself you can contribute it to the website.

Overcast

http://www.cloudappreciationsociety.org/
If you’re one of those people who love a clear sky, then the initiators of this website will hold a serious grudge against you. This is the official website of a society whose members love clouds and anything to do with it. Of course, in our part of the world, clouds are always welcome but not in others. The website features some interesting pro-cloud stuff like cloud art and photo galleries which is sure to hold your interest.

Who’s browsing what?

http://www.swarmthe.com/
If you have some time to waste, then this website has something interesting to offer. Entitled Swarm, this tool enables you to discover for yourself which websites internet users around the world are browsing at that very moment. If you’re using Firefox, you can install a plug-in and enable it for websites you wish to be added to the list.
