LCD display

Toshiba’s prototype model of the new flatbed type 3D LCD display without special glasses. It shows 16 different angles, 3D images with a technology of integral imaging system employing semicylindrical micro-lenses on its surface.






Cellphone for businesses

NTT DoCoMo’s new handset, M1000, produced by Motorola, was unveiled recently. This is a highly advanced, business-use FOMAR handset that will provide full access to the Web with its Opera 7.5 browser. The M1000 will be compatible with overseas networks, work with POP and IMAP e-mail and open e-mail attachments.


IC recorder

Tomy’s tiny IC recorder, “Whisper Voice,” enables the recording of only six-second messages. This is then played with whisper voice. Tomy will start to sell the small mascot recorder, measuring 25 x 32 x 24mm and weighing 9g, later this month with a price of $8.
