Satellite phones

SAMSUNG unveiled its third satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting phones, SCH-B200, last week. The new DMB phone features a 260,000-colour LCD and versatile functions ranging from TV to MP3 player to file viewing.



Long-lasting battery

SANYO recently launched the prototype of Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) for IBM’s notebook computer Thinkpad and its methanol cartridge, which contains 130cc of 100 per cent methanol that enables it to drive a PC for 8 hours. Sanyo will put the product on sale in 2007 or 2008.





Digital audio hub

SONOS ZonePlayer ZP100 has built-in wireless capability and can play compressed MP3, WMA and AAC (MPEG4) music files. It can also optimize sound performance for each zone and play same or different songs simultaneously in different zones. This player also comes with a remote control.
