SONY launched the new 70-inch rear-projection TV set "QUALIA 006” in Tokyo the other day. The set features three full-HD spec (1920 x 1080-pixel) reflection LCD panels on its optical unit which creates smooth and film-like images. Sony will put Qualia 006 on the market in March with a price tag of $16,000.

HITACHI unveiled the world’s smallest DVD camcorder "Wooo DZ-MV780" in Tokyo recently. It is equipped with a 1.33 mega-pixel CCD and a 3.2-32mm/F1.8-2.3 zoom lens. Estimated price: $935.
