1.07 Megapixel handycam

Sony’s new digital video camcorder “Handycam DCR-HC40,” is equipped with a 1.07 mega pixel CCD on its image sensor and 3.2 - 32mm/F1.8 - 2.3 Carl Zeiss vario tessar zoom lens on its 400g body. This device will be available in the market in February with an estimated price of $840. — AFP






Wireless television
Sony unveils its latest portable wireless television set “Airboard LF-X1,” which is equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD display. This device makes it possible to connect to a wide range of media contents, TV boardcasting, video and internet with wireless LAN technology (IEEE802.11a/b/g). Expected to be launched in march, it will be sold for $1,380. — AFP
