Snake-like robot

A snake-shaped robot attempts to scale a brick barrier at the Kyoto University’s laboratory in Uji city, Kyoto prefecture early February. The 1.43-metre-long robot, nicknamed ‘Moira’, operates by remote control to find people trapped in rubble after a disaster. — AFP
