embroideries, translating them into elegant ensembles. A fusion of old and
new crafts using ancient zardozi stitches of maroori, wasli, karchoop and
kicha with contemporary dabka, naqsh, tikki, resham and ghagi have created
attires which recapture the opulence of Moghul courts. The fabrics used are
also a blend of old-world panache of kamkhabs and jamawars fused with
sumptuous chiffons, nets and silks in jewel colours |
