Peach delights

Peach punch
Ingredients:
1/2 litre water
2-3 peaches
1/2 cup sugar
Juice of 1 lemon


Method:
Peel and cut the peaches. In a liquidizer mix all ingredients and blend for a few minutes. Pour into glasses with ice cubes. Decorate it with finely cut lemon.

Peach with rainbow grass
Ingredients:
2 medium sized peaches
10 gms China rainbow grass
1/2 kg milk
8 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vanilla custard powder
1/2 cup fresh cream
Bounties for garnishing


Method:
Boil milk with 4 tbsp sugar and custard powder. Let it cool. In a pan cook China grass with 1 glass of water, when it dissolves add 4 tbsp sugar and boil for 5 minutes. Pour the grass in 3 different bowls and add red colour in one bowl, green in another, and yellow in the third bowl. Allow to cool. Peel peach into halves and remove the stone. Place one half in a dessert serving dish, pour custard cream and decorate with China rainbow grass, fresh cream and colourful Bounties.

Peach jam
Ingredients:
1/2 kg sugar
1/2 kg peaches
Juice of 2 lemons


Method:
Blend peaches, sugar and lemon juice in a food processor. Put the contents into a pan bringing slowly to boil, until setting point is reached. Pour into sterile jar.

Peaches with ice-cream
Ingredients:
3 peaches
1 banana
1 cup sugar
1 packet jelly (strawberry flavour)
1/2 litre icecream


Method:
Blend peaches and banana with sugar in food processor. Spread the puree in a dish. Layer ice cream slabs and garnish with jelly pieces.

Peach treat
Ingredients:
3 peaches
1 mango
1 apple
2 bananas
1 packet fresh cream
1/2 tin condensed milk
1 cup peach juice
1 cup milk
1 cup mixed nuts


Method:
Peel and cut the fruits into small pieces. Mix fresh cream, milk and condensed milk in a bowl. Add all the fruits in it and pour peach juice. Garnish with nuts.
