Chicken dishes

Chicken boti kabab
Ingredients:
1 1/2 kg chicken cut like karhai chicken pieces
1 tbsp salt
1tbsp ginger/garlic paste
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1tbsp HP sauce
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp poppy seeds (ground)
5 tbsp brown onions (ground)
3 tbsp raw onion


Method:
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients for one hour. Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake in a pre-heated oven on 180 degrees for 1/2 an hour.

Pepper chicken
Ingredients:
2 cups boneless chicken
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp ginger/garlic paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp HP sauce
1 tbsp brown onion (ground)
1 tbsp flour dissolved in 1/2 cup water
2 tbsp fresh cream


Method:
Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper, mustard and ginger/garlic paste for one hour. Heat oil, add marinated chicken and fry well. Add brown onions. Cook for 5 minutes. Add in flour mixed with water and Worcestershire sauce, HP sauce and fresh cream. Stir well till the sauce is very thick. Remove. Place chicken in a serving dish and pour sauce on top. Sprinkle crushed black pepper on it. Serve with french fries.

Chicken balls
Ingredients:
2 cups boneless chicken
1 potato boiled
1 bread
1 onion roughly chopped
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp red chilli powder
4 green chillies chopped
1 tsp mustard powder
A handful of coriander leaves (chopped)
A handful of mint leaves (chopped)
Oil for deep frying


Method:
Boil chicken with salt and pepper until the water dries. Mix all the spices with the mashed potatoes and chicken. Cut the edges of the bread, slice and soak it lightly. Make the potatoes into ball shapes. Now fry the balls in hot oil. Serve with french fries.

Chicken stew
Ingredients:
12 chicken wings
5 cups chicken stock
1 cup spring onions roughly chopped
2 onions cut in cubes
4 black peppers
1 bay leaf
1 small cauliflower divided into florets
1 carrot cut in slices
1 cup green beans cut length wise
5 garlic cloves crushed
1/4 packet noodles boiled
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste


Method:
Place the chicken wings in a pan of water with the spring onions, onion, black pepper, bay leaf and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender. Remove. Heat butter and saute onions, carrots and green beans. Add chicken stock and season with salt, pepper and garlic. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add cauliflower and simmer for 15 minutes. Lastly, add chicken wings and noodles. Season with salt, pepper and vinegar. Serve with bread.

Fiery pot
Ingredients:
2 cups boneless chicken cut into small cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 garlic cloves crushed
1 onion roughly chopped
1 cup tomatoes roughly chopped
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 cup stock
4 small onions
2 black peppers
1/4 cup oil


Method:
Fry the chicken in oil in a pot. Season with salt and pepper. Add garlic and onion, cook for a while and then add tomatoes, chilli powder and stock. Simmer slowly till chicken is done. Add small onions and pepper. Cook for 15 minutes. Serve with rice.
