Return of Knight

Knight Rider, the popular television show of the 1980s, where a black Pontiac Trans-Am roared through the streets to champion the cause of the innocent and fight criminals who operated above the law, is in production as a major motion picture.

Featuring David Hasselhoff as the one and only Michael Knight, the film based on the series, which met an abrupt end nearly 20 years ago and after four successful seasons, is set to make an impact later this year. Although Michael would be without the aid of his mentor Devon Miles (Edward Mulhare died in 1997), he will be aided by his ‘buddy’ William Daniels, the voice of Knight Industries Two Thousand — K.I.T.T.

Mayhem Pictures and Revolution Studios have joined hands for Knight Rider — The Movie, with a much older Hasselhoff as the executive producer besides being the man behind the wheel.— Omair Alavi
