Parzania is a true-life incident that deals with the trauma of a Parsi couple who get trapped in the midst of the 2002 communal riots in Indian Gujarat and their sensitive 10-year-old boy goes missing during the communal inferno.
Instead of focusing on the horror of the events, the director, US-based Rahul Dholakia, who has also written Parzania, has focused on the horror of
personal loss as an outcome of the event. The song-less English-language feature film recently had its world premier in the 10th Pusan International Film Festival — the largest and most prestigious film festival in Asia — in South Korea.

Madonna may have embraced the mystical teachings of the kaballa, but she can do without parenting advice from Jon Bon Jovi.
“Madonna takes (her) kids, (Rocco and Lourdes), out to every premiere she ever goes to,” scolds the New Jersey rocker.
“These kids have done nothing, and yet we all know what they look like.” Madonna’s rep argues: “Madonna has never brought her children to a movie premiere. I’m delighted to hear what an authority Mr Bon Jovi is on Madonna’s talents as a mother.” —R&M
