Family feud There was a reunion in the Voight family, but it’s not between dad Jon and daughter Angelina Jolie.
The pair found themselves in the same hotel, the St. Regis in Los Angeles. Voight was at a junket for National Treasure and Jolie was doing interviews for Mr and Mrs Smith. Voight was spotted going up to Jolie’s room, but it was only to visit her son, Maddox.
“I do not see any reconciliation with my father ever,” Jolie told an interviewer. “There’s only so much energy in this life; I don’t want him to make my stomach go into knots anymore.” —Rush & Molloy
Madonna calls GIs home Not that anyone in the White House will give a fig, but Madonna told a news channel: “I just don’t want American troops to be in Iraq, period.”
The singer argued that the war on terrorism shouldn’t be fought in Iraq. “Global terror is in California,” she said.
Meanwhile, the former Material Girl is parting ways with her longtime manager, Caresse Henry.
Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, said the pair, who worked together for 13 years, “mutually agreed” to split.
While Madonna has told friends she’s not looking for a new manager, we hear that Henry is close to a deal to rep Ricky Martin, who just parted company with Handprint Entertainment’s Benny Medina. —R&M
