The way we were
While many have forgotten the way fashion was in the past decade, Images came up with the novel idea of recollecting such fashion trends in its anniversary issue. Dhoti shalwars and baggy tops represent just a few of the outrageous fashion trends through the ages, much to the amusement of the modern critics. Through the years, a budding local fashion industry which has flourished into a compe-tent force, has launched Pakistan in the international style arena.
Local fashion has passed through the trial and error process to emerge like the phoenix, from the ashes of fires past, and to shine with renewed glory. So here’s wishing all the best in the coming years to our fashion industry that has grown from a scrawny fledgling into a vibrant bird of paradise.
