A fashion show was held on the lawns of a Karachi hotel, based on the colours blue (aqua), pink (floral) and orange (orient).
To lend a touch of style to the practical outfits presented that evening, designer Moazzam Abbasi concentrated on sleek pants with cuts. The shirts varied from flared sleeves to sleeveless, with a gown thrown in for good measure. Though restricted by the three patent colours, he played around with hues as a result of which the pinks came in a wide variety of powder to hot-pink and burnished orange and gold.
Make-up artists Saima and Huma sought a tropical look with flowers for the pink segment and feathers for the orange.
