STARBUZZ: Haseena’s new calling

A surprise move by Haseena Moin is her joining a local channel as its script director recently. The Indus owner, Ghazanfar Ali, had been after the writer for some time to accept the position, and has welcomed her with open arms after she gave the go ahead signal. Not a regular nine-to-five job and always one to guard her independence, one of Haseena’s perks is she can breeze in and out of the office whenever she wants. A slight lull in her writing spree is one of the reasons for this latest change. Will she get along with the boss who is known for his bossy ways? Only time will tell.—K.H.

Bobby Brown behind bars

Bobby Brown is trying out one of Atlanta’s most popular bed-’n’-breakfast hideaways — the DeKalb County Jail.

Whitney Houston’s husband was locked up without bond recently after again violating his probation on a 1996 drunken driving conviction, said a sheriff’s spokeswoman. Officials wouldn’t say exactly how Brown, 35, violated his probation. He was taken into custody after appearing before a judge. Houston was with him.

The onetime music star served seven days in jail last August for his first violation of parole. He’s also awaiting a hearing on battery charges stemming from an argument in December in which Houston claimed he struck her.—Rush and Molloy
