Pakistan’s fashion scene has changed for the better over the past few years. Fresh faces and innovative concepts have given the profession a much needed ‘facelift.’
Countless names have played an indispensable role in alleviating the standards of the beauty business. Musarrat Misbah certainly tops the ranking list among such names. With passion, fortitude, and resilience, Musarrat has carved a niche for herself. Her professional achievements, despite successive setbacks in her personal life, have become an example in the industry. Her most recent venture, Depilex Men, is undoubtedly a new feather in her cap.
Recently, Depilex held an inaugurating event to formally launch this saloon for men with great panache. The male attendance listened with rapt fascination while Musarrat articulated the entire array of services that most men had been secretly yearning for. Evidently, the saloon offers tune-ups like manicure, pedicure, haircut, blow-drying, treatment for falling hair, facial aromatherapy, image styling and even a Swedish massage! The announcement that the place offers make-up services for men created a buzz among the guests while the revelation that grooms could also indulge in self-pampering on their special day through the groom packages.
A fashion show followed. Choreographed by Imran Qureshi the show. The vivacious music turned the evening into an effervescent affair. The models wore modish apparels by designer Deepak Pervani. The one surprise model of the evening, Resham, set many a hearts aflutter with her panache and grace. Seems like she’s becoming part and parcel of every grand fashion show that happens in Lahore.
The exceptional yet nippy evening also included dinner. Since few were dressed or prepared for the Arctic bites of cold, many left early shivering with chattering teeth.
