The beginning of a national saga…
 Through the years, the possibility of a National Art Gallery in Pakistan to house a permanent collection of the country’s art treasures was a subject of discussion with a succession of director generals of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts. Blue prints were keenly examined and approved and funds allocated for the work....
