ISLAMABAD, Jan 2 Former federal minister and chief of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid Ahmed met President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday.
Talking to a TV channel, Sheikh Rashid said he had apprised the president of important problems being faced by the nation. He said the meeting was not meant to discuss a political alliance.
He said he doubted that loadshedding of electricity would end by December this year as claimed by federal minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.—Online
