NOWSHERA, April 11: Two bodies packed in gunnysacks were found in Pashtun Gahri area of Pabbi here on Thursday.
Chits with names and residential addresses of the deceased were also found on the bodies.
According to local resident Nadeem Khan, people of Pashtun Gahri had informed police about two gunnysacks in the area.
Police seized the bags before finding bodies of Mohammad Naeem from Chamkani, Peshawar and Haq Nawaz from Muzaffargarh in them.
They later took the bodies to Rashid Shaheed Memorial Hospital, Pabbi for autopsy.
Quoting doctors, police said the two were tortured to death as their bodies carried marks of torture. The bodies were later handed over the relevant families.
Pervez, brother of Naeem, told reporters that his brother was a seminarian and was allegedly abducted by intelligence agencies two years ago. He said the case of his brother’s disappearance was sub judice.
Meanwhile, the residents of Pashtun Gahri protested on G.T. Road against the recovery of the two bodies. They later dispersed after police assured them of early arrest of killers. — Correspondent
