What a contrast

Published March 19, 2013

DR Peerzada Qasim’s letter (March 13) was an eye-opener not only for those at the helm of affairs but for every person who cares for quality education for the nation’s youth.

From the beginning of 2013, for the betterment of education, enhancing grants to universities and introducing new technical subjects is well understood from the thought provoking letter.

Alas, we still keep on sleeping on these matters rather than making every effort for improving what is left of higher education. This will keep on happening as long as fake-degree holders remain in the assemblies.
