NOWSHERA, Feb 20: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah has said that internally displaced persons (IDPs) of tribal areas would soon return to their homes as writ of the state has been restored in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

He said that effective military operation against militants had been paving the way for IDPs’ return to their areas. “The military operation is continuing in Khyber Agency and the IDPs would be sent back immediately after the situation is normal,” he said.

On this occasion, the governor appreciated the courage of cadets for continuing their studies in difficult situation. He assured them that the college would be shifted to the new premises having all required facilities.

“It is now a matter of weeks to overcome deficiencies at the new campus in Nowshera, after which the institution will work as per desired standards,” he said.

Mr Shaukatullah said that he would ensure that quality academic facilities were provided in the cadet college. The governor, who was accompanied by senior authorities from Fata Secretariat, also directed for overcoming the transport deficiency of the college besides meeting its financial requirements.
