PESHAWAR: A key militant commander, Khurasan, along with another commander identified as Mazloom Yar, belonging to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan's (TTP) Tariq Afridi group from Darra Adamkhel area, were shot dead in Saam area of Khyber tribal region.

Intelligence official sources told Dawn.com that the two militant commanders were shot by an unknown sniper.

No confirmation from the outlawed TTP was available till the filing of this report.
