‘Own your style’ was the defining mantra behind Nabila Fatima’s Black&White flagship store opening and fashion presentation held recently in Karachi where leading models such as Iraj Manzoor, Maha Ali, Fouzia Aman, Saima Azhar, Hira Tareen along with Eshal Fayyaz, Zeba Ali, Abeer Adeel, Sana Khan and Falak Shaikh took to the makeshift ramp with choreography by Moiz Kazmi and hair and make-up by Nighat Misbah @ Depilex.

The models offered fashionable, trendy and wearable outfits for the women of today who are independent, stylish, bold and confident. The collection played with fusion of the modern era with a glimpse of the traditional while accentuating casualty and comfort without accentuation on style

As the force behind the brand, Nabila has brought on board creative designers and graduates from reputable fashion institutes whose unique style has added to the brand’s couture sensibilities.

Back to the show and it presented outfits from three lines: Kurtaan which is a collection of neatly embroidered kurtas for college-going girls as well as working women; Chic which is mostly formals and semi-formals and Dusk which is heavily-embellished evening/party wear.

The launch was organised by Tehmina Khaled and coordination by Munaf Mansoor. — A.K.
