Murdered

LAHORE, Jan 10: A 40-year-old trader was killed by unidentified person(s) on Muslim Road in Samanabad early on Thursday.

Police said Tariq Akbar Bhatti was ambushed by unidentified gunmen near his residence who fired a single bullet at him.

Tariq, who ran a stationary shop in Anarkali, was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

Iqbal Town SP Operations Imtiaz Serwer said the motive behind the shooting not yet clear. —Staff Reporter
