LAHORE, Dec 6: An additional district and sessions judge on Thursday extended an interim bail of Khalid Salim Mian, owner of manufacturing factory of a cough syrup (Tyno).

The police investigating officer appeared before the court and sought more time to complete probe. The judge extended concession of bail to the accused till Dec 14.

The accused had pleaded that initial inquiry had established that there was no defect in syrup’s ingredients but the people died due to excessive doze. He said he had no role in the deaths.
