KARACHI: Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his doubles partner Jean-Julier Rojer of the Netherlands, crashed out of the ATP World Tour Finals after losing their second match to Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan of the United States on Friday at the 02 Arena in London.

The Pak-Dutch duo lost 7-5, 6-4 to the Bryan brothers in one hour and sixteen minutes.

The Bryans took advantage of the mistakes of their opponents and created four break point opportunities in the first set. Qureshi and Rojer lost a lead of 30/15 in the second set with the score at 4-5, losing four points.

Qureshi-Rojer lost their first match against  Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek 6-4, 7-5 and are placed last in their group. The pair will next play  Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez.

Meanwhile, Paes and Stepanek reached the semi-finals after beating Granollers and Lopez 7-5, 6-4. Paes and Stepanek, seeded third, are the first doubles pair to qualify from Group A after winning both their matches without dropping a set.

They were pushed hard by the sixth seeds in a match lasting one hour and 31 minutes, twice having to come from a break down in the second set before eventually sprinting to the finish line with a barrage of winners.

Paes and Stepanek, who now have a dead rubber in their final match against the Bryans, are making their first appearance together at the Tour Finals as they bid to end the Indian's nightmare run in the final of the season-ending event.

Former doubles world number one Paes has been runner-up on four occasions, in 1997, 1999 and 2000 with compatriot Mahesh Bhupathi, and then in 2005 with Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic.
