ISLAMABAD, Oct 1: The Afghan government has decided to issue multiple entry visas for six months to Pakistani businessmen who intend to visit Afghanistan.

Further to the discussions at the level of top leaderships of the two countries and on the basis of the directive of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad has communicated its decision to issue multiple entry visas for six months to Pakistani businessmen, an official announcement here on Monday said.

During a visit to Kabul in July this year, Pime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf raised the issue of visas for businessmen with the Afghan president who had agreed and issued directives in this regard.
