PPP and PML-N: resolving problems

Published Sep 08, 2012 03:20am

IT has been acknowledged that the PPP and the PML-N are engaged in serious talks about the interim setup, new provinces, etc. It seems that this campaign is only for getting power. Pakistan faces very critical issues such as price hike, energy crisis and the law order situation.

Owing to these crises we are losing a lot. Industrialists are shifting industries to other countries. There are no incentives for businesses. If the shifting of industry continues, we are bound to lose revenue. Our national exchequer is also in a shaky condition.

Despite this, politicians are not paying attention to the issues mentioned above. It would be much better if the two parties are engaged in talks about resolving these issues.

To bank on tried and tested big wigs is a big mistake to begin with. An infertile land can not be harvested. We, the people of this nation need to understand this and evaluate other political alternatives such as PTI.
