MIRPURKHAS: Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon said the Pakistan Peoples Party will win the next general election in Sindh province with a clear majority.

In a press release issued here, he further said that the opponents of the PPP would not even find candidates in the province to contest the election.

Sharjeel Memon said that the people of Sindh have always reposed full confidence in the PPP leadership and gave a heavy mandate to the party, while Mian Nawaz Sharif has admitted his defeat in the province.

Moreover, he said that the present democratic government has undertaken record development projects in the province.

The party provided job opportunities to thousands of youths, and reinstated those sacked in previous governments, he added.

He said the party is accountable only before the people for everything.

Sharjeel Memon said the PPP would continue to serve the people without any discrimination.

What planet does the PPP reside on? Even Military rule is better than the PPP

Either he is living in complete denial... Or perhaps PPP has a master plan ready for rigging in the upcoming elections.

PPP is the only sane voice in Pakistan... If the Judiciary, Journalists and Generals could stop poking their nose in every state affair they can do much better than what they did in the last 4 years. you are yet to know the achievements of PPP in this tenure. Let's leave it for only a few months for PPP ministers to start revealing on the media...Look at the policies for now... Who has the most sane and better policy against the menace of Terrorism? Who has worked and given lives to defend the rights of minorities? Who has brought structural reforms in the Government in Pakistan? Who has expedited the Agricultural Economy of Pakistan? Check out the Karachi Stock Exchange and ask People how is it going? Who has the best policy for International Relations, which is reconciliation instead of isolation? Who has already established a Welfare state system through the BISP scheme to give targetted subsidy? Who managed to gather Aman Lashkars against the terrorists in the tribal areas? remember Musharraf couldnt/didnt do that... I know there is only one answer to all these questions...

But Bro, the discussion here is that will PPP get a clear majority in the next elections and as you note that everyone is unanimously agreeing that without rigging its simply impossible. We'll all have to vote irrespective of being doctors or engineers or accountants. We'll have to vote the right guys for the job. Certainly PPP is not the one on my list.

Sharjeel memon and PPP should spare the people of Pakistan and go into exile! I have hardly seen a politician as naive and a liar as Memon. They have no conscience. I wonder if they ever worry about the Day of Resurrection when they will have to answer to their Creator what havoc they have brought upon the Muslims and the people of Pakistan!

Yes very true PPP has started good programs. But the problem with PPP people are; Just name one minister except Abdul Hafeez sb, who is competent enough to handle the post? Watch interview of Gilani for CNN or interview of Zerdari for different media channels. The problem with present PPP set-up (after bb) is, the person sitting on higher and higher post is more and more incompetent and, more and more corrupt. Just name one minister or person sitting on any administrative post and liked by most of Pakistani people. You people are ruling on Pakistani people and are disliked the most by Pakistani. Moreover, it is now internationally recognized fact. Do you know what is conversion rate of doller-to-rupee? What do you know er kg price of tomato, potato and onion?

It is PPP minister's public stance. However, let me tell you private opinion of PPP parliamentarians. This was opinion of a few PPP parliamentarians (few are ministers with good say in party) even during initial days of the government. I shall not name the parliamentarians, whose opinion I am sharing with you people. However, I am telling you truth, believe me. "This is the last time, we are in power and after that we shall not be. So try to avail the opportunity the most". So they know..........

you are right Mr. Sarjeel PPP Will win because there are too many parties involved. If there are only 2 parties then PPP will never come in the power. PPP have votes from poor/uneducated people. other have good voters but those get split and PPP have chance to win.

PPP will win the elections by rigging, even when Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto was the Prime Minister PPP rigged the elections big time. They can do anything to remain in power.

Let's not forget giving more autonomy to the provinces. No restriction on media even when they are speaking venom against them all the time. Not a single political prisoner in 4 yrs of their govt. sticking to their principles and not directly confronting the unelected judiciary. Sacrificing a govt and a minister while standing upto extremists. Accepting opposition nominee for election commission. Trying to resolve major issues with consensus. Giving voice to people of KP province and giving them a name they want. What I like best though is that Zardari keep doing this with a smile on his face which just kills these right wingers.

I wonder what level of rigging will be done in the upcoming elections when corrupt people of the ppp sound so confident. I'm surprised that they still dont realise (or don't want to) that they have sucked the country dry. Shame on them.

Sharjeel Memon is forecasting a black day for Pakistan if it so happens. Through transparent & honest means there is absolutely no chance for PPP winning even 1/4 seats of what it won in the last election. In my opinion even the co-partners of PPP will suffer badly. Peoples are in no mood to get trapped any further. After all it is the question of Pakistan's next 5 years, can Pakistan afford to have the same corrupt & faulty governace for the next 5 years as well?

Saying before the election that PPP will come out with clear majority itself shows the intention of PPP high command that they are not going to accept any outcome except victory. Army and Election commission should note all these claims, before they create anarchy after the election.

A reply with no match to the discussion. All people are not corrupt. Moreover, we do not live on mars. Yes, I agree everybody has to fulfill his/her responsibility honestly. But you must realize and tell me who would bring more prosperity to nation among following three people? A laborer, who works honestly. A minister, who works honestly. or A president of any country, who works honestly. Think about it Mr Aqeel. Seems to me you are very much inspired by present government :)

We want to beg PPP to please forgive us and forgive pakistan .

Mr Sharjeel Memon has just arrived from Mars. Please forgive him. We understand he wants to be on winning side. Our advise to him, Join PTI.
