ATTOCK, Aug 27: A disaster was averted when duty guards traced an explosive device placed at the car porch of DPO office, police said on Monday.
The security official informed DPO Mohammad Hilal Khan who called the bomb disposal squad. The device was hidden in flowers pots.
Personnel of Elite Force and other police officials rushed to the scene Later, the bomb disposal squad defused the device and took it away. Five policemen were suspended. — Staff Reporter
