ISLAMABAD, Aug 9: Federal government departments will remain closed on account of Eidul Fitr from Aug 20 to 22, an official handout said on Thursday.

With Aug 18 and 19 being Saturday and Sunday, the federal government employees will get a five-day Eid break.

The first day of Eid will either fall on Aug 19 (Sunday) or Aug 20 (Monday), depending on the sighting of the crescent. —Reporter
