GUJAR KHAN, July 23: A woman was hit by a speeding truck as she was crossing the G. T. Road in front of Gujar Khan police station on Monday.
The woman later identified as Tahira, a resident of Smote village breathed her last in the hospital while the truck driver sped away from the scene.
However, some eye witnesses noted the truck’s registration number and informed the police who registered a case and launched search for the driver.—Correspondent
