LAHORE, July 21: The Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) has announced observing a “black day” on Monday (tomorrow) against the new Contempt of Court Act 2012.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, bar’s executive committee chairman Rana Asif Saeed said lawyers across the province would observe the black day and a full day strike. Black flags will also be hoisted on bar rooms. The Lahore High Court Bar Association also gave its separate call for the full day strike against the new contempt of court law. — Staff Reporter
