TAXILA, July 14: Over 3,000 priceless and rare antiquities are in danger as the Taxila Museum is without electricity for the last two days. Officials said Iesco had disconnected power connection to the museum due to non-payment of outstanding bills.
The museum, which houses thousands of centuries-old rare and priceless antiquities, especially the statues of Great Buddha, is also at the mercy of thieves as there is no alternative electricity system for the building. —Correspondent
