LAHORE, July 7: A spokesman for police department has said in view of ‘threats’ being hurled at the newly-appointed doctors, plainclothesmen from special branch had been deployed in the city hospitals for their protection.
He added the plainclothesmen would continue to perform their duty in the hospitals in future as well.
He said doctors’ safety in the hospitals was police’s foremost concern.
