ISLAMABAD: As many 4,345 flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) were delayed during first quarter of this year, Federal Minister for Defence Syed Naveed Qamar informed the National Assembly here on Friday.

In his written reply submitted in the lower house of the Parliament, he said that a total of 12,148 flights of PIA operated in January, February and March, this year out of which 4,345 flights were delayed.

The percentage of delay is 35.76 per cent.

He said during three months, average percentage of punctuality was 64.3 per cent and average percentage of regularity was 95.33 per cent.
