LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan said that the decision to resume Nato supply routes to Afghanistan violated the supremacy of the parliament, DawnNews reported.

The PTI chairman said that the government had bypassed the parliament in the decision making and proved that it held no regards for the lower house.

The rulers of the country have succumbed to the demands of the US by resuming the supply lines, he added.

He said that he condemned the recent approval of contempt of court law by the cabinet. Adding that, the law will undermine the powers of the judiciary.

Khan warned that his party will hold ‘tsunami march’ if anyone tries to control the courts.

Moreover, he criticised Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif over his absence from the country whenever there is a crisis situation.
