Youth policy

PESHAWAR, June25: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will announce youth policy today (Tuesday).

The policy will be announced at a press conference jointly organised by the department of youth affairs, Bargad, an organisation of youth development, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The press conference will be addressed by Syed Aqil Shah, Provincial Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Jamaluddin, secretary, department of youth affairs, Sabiha Shaheen, executive director of Bargad, and Mr Yu Yu, deputy representative of UNFPA.

The department of youth affairs had recently signed an MOU with Bargad to formulate youth policy after a thorough consultative process.—Bureau Report
