QUETTA, June 6: Haji Fayyaz Hasan Sajjad, a senior journalist, passed away here on Wednesday. He was about 70.He started his career as a sports writer during the late 60s and worked as a senior reporter of daily Jang in Quetta for 40 years.

According to family sources, Haji Sajjad was taken to Civil Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.

His funeral will be held on Thursday.
