LAHORE, May 25: Pakistan’s Davis Cupper Samir Iftikhar has pulled off an upset by getting the better of seventh seed and ATP ranking player Nicholas Jones of the Great Britain in three sets marathon match to reach last eight of the Aegon British Tour Cardiff Championship at the Welsh Tennis Centre.

According to information received here, Samir overcame the challenge of Briton with score being 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.In the next match, Samir will take on fourth seed and ATP-ranked James Ireland of the Great Britain.
