LAHORE, May 11: Governor Latif Khosa has said all institutions should work within their ambit.

He was addressing a certificate distribution ceremony of an executive programme on “Managing Public and Private Enterprises in Pakistan” at the Executive Management Institute of the National School of the Public Policy here on Friday.

The governor said bureaucracy would have to make decisions for the welfare of the masses by eliminating the traditional style of delay. He said any inordinate delay should not be made in solving people’s problems. “We all should make efforts to create awareness about accountability so that a better society can be formed,” he said.

The federal and provincial secretaries, parliamentarians of the PPP and the PML-N, business and legal community attended the programme.

The programme witnessed a debate by participants over three important departments of the country — PIA, Railways and Steel Mills.
