‘Baloch solution’

Published February 20, 2012

THIS is apropos of the editorial ‘Baloch solution’ (Feb 12). I agree with the views and would like to add a bit more regarding the issue of the Baloch.

Balochistan, containing 46 per cent area of Pakistan, is experiencing some critical issues which need immediate solution: the issue of missing persons and recovery of their mutilated bodies is one of the most hurtful stories of the province. Without solving this problem, it would be hard for anyone to overhaul the situation. However, the government has neglected this key issue and its officials say there is a foreign hand involved behind the Baloch issue. If this is so, it is then a serious question about the role and duty of security personnel.
