KARACHI, Oct 20: Federal Communication Minister Dr Arbab Alamgir has assured the Senate standing committee on communication that all ongoing NHA construction projects in Karachi and the interior of Sindh will be completed according to the international quality and standards.

The committee held its session with its chairman, Senator Wali Muhammad Badeni, in the chair. The minister informed the committee that some projects under his ministry had been hit by delays due to recent rains and floods.

The committee chairman asked the NHA to complete all these projects in time, and made it clear that no unnecessary delay would be tolerated in this regard.—PPI
